Introduction
DocMeet operates the website located at www.docmeet.com and connects you with leading doctors through virtual consultations. By connecting you with doctors in real time via virtual consults, DocMeet provides you with access to immediate care and advice directly from your computer or mobile device.

Do not use DocMeet in the event of an emergency or for emergency care. Call 911 for any emergency.

We developed this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and disclose information from and/or about you when you use DocMeet. By continuing to use DocMeet, you agree to this Privacy Policy and any updates to it. This means that if this Privacy Policy changes, you agree to these changes if you keep using DocMeet. When the meaning of this Privacy Policy is changed, we will update the ‘last modified’ date at the bottom of the policy.

Your use of DocMeet is anonymous. Your personally identifiable information (your real name, date of birth, email address, and other such information) is not visible to others. Like an in-person patient-doctor visit, DocMeet virtual consults are confidential but not an anonymous service. When using DocMeet for a virtual consultation, some Profile information (including your real name and health information from your Profile) is visible to doctors with whom you enter into consults. Your personal contact information is never visible on DocMeet to other members or doctors.

Personal Information
Your profile contains the information you provide when you create a DocMeet account, including your name, email address, and date of birth. You can also add optional health information to your profile. You can add, edit, or delete optional information appearing in your profile at any time.

The Personal information we collect or maintain may include:
  • Your name, age, email address, username, password, and other registration information
  • Health Information that you provide us, which may include information or records relating to your medical or health history, health status and laboratory testing results, diagnostic images, and other health related information
  • Health information about you prepared by the health care provider(s) who provide services through DocMeet such as medical records, treatment and examination notes, and other health related information
  • Billing information that you provide us, such as credit card information
  • Information about the computer or mobile device you are using, such as what Internet browser you use, the kind of computer or mobile device you use, and other information about how you use DocMeet
  • Other information you input into DocMeet
We may use your Personal Information for the following purposes (subject to applicable legal restrictions):
  • To provide you with DocMeet services
  • To improve the quality of healthcare through the performance of quality reviews and similar activities
  • To create de-identified anonymous information such as aggregate statistics relating to the use of DocMeet

  • To market and promote DocMeet to you
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide us personal information
  • For any other purpose for which you give us authorization

Information We Collect via Technology
As you use DocMeet, certain information may be passively collected by cookies, navigational data like URLs, and third party tracking services, including:
  • Site Activity Information. We may keep track of some of the actions you take on the site, such as the content of searches you perform on the site.
  • Access Device and Browser Information. When you access the site from a computer or other device, we may collect anonymous information from that device, such as your Internet protocol address, browser type, connection speed and access times.
  • Cookies. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies to make the Site and Service easier to use, to make our advertising better, and to protect both you and DocMeet. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting Cookies or to prompt you before accepting a Cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept Cookies, however, you will not be able to stay logged in to the site. We presently do not honor “Do Not Track” requests across all part of our site.
  • Real-Time Location. Certain features of the Site use GPS technology to collect real-time information about the location of your device so that the Site can connect you to a health care provider who is licensed or authorized to provide services in the state where you are located.
Information You Share With Third Parties
This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through the site and in email, text and other electronic communications set through or in connection with the site. This policy DOES NOT apply to information collected by any third party. When you click on links on the site you may leave our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy statements.

Modification of Information
Members will be able to update some of their information through the Site. Requests to modify any information may also be submitted directly to support@docmeet.com.

Limitations on Deletion of Information
You may request deletion of your personal information by us, but please note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete personal information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives and we may also retain anonymous information about your use of our Service.
